Welcome
Berkowners Inc., more commonly known as the Berkeley, is considered one of the most prestigious co-op complexes in Jackson Heights, Queens. Located in a designated historic district, the Berkeley comprises three elegant and unique pre-war apartment buildings (288 apartments).
Berkeley apartments have bright, spacious rooms with 9-foot ceilings, hardwood floors and architectural details, and range from studios (at 500 square feet) to two-bedroom units (approaching 1,300 square feet). Built as rental apartment buildings, they were converted to cooperative ownership in May 1981. The three six-story buildings share an interior garden, which was lovingly restored in 2013.
