Contact

Who Should I Contact When?

Superintendent

  • Building maintenance & repairs—Call or email for work orders

  • Basement storage unit availability

  • Move-in/move-out coordination

  • Emergencies or security issues

Managing Agent

The managing agent is hired by the co-op board to oversee the property.

  • Applications for renovations, alterations, and/or subleases

  • Maintenance fee and tax questions

  • Issues with staff or neighbors

  • Approval for loan refinancing

  • Renting the community room or garden

  • General complaints

The Board

Board members are volunteers who often have their own daily jobs. Therefore, you should contact the superintendent or managing agent first for most issues. Reach out to the Board if:

  • A broader co-op issue is not being resolved, such as in common spaces of buildings

  • There is an emergency or safety concern (In this case, contact both the Board and the super)

  • You suspect co-op violations (alterations, subletting, or pets)

  • You wish to get involved in our co-op community by joining or starting a committee

  • You want to propose a co-op improvement project or community event

  • You want to run for the Board
